Zolved – How to make OpenOffice run faster in Ubuntu
Note: Even though the title says ‘in Ubuntu’, there’s no reason why these changes couldn’t be made in any other version of Linux or other OSes for that matter. I run Arch Linux at home and will try it out when I get home tonight.
Update: Yup, working perfectly on Arch Linux. These simple changes make a huge difference.
