Starting to dislike Sams Club
What a racket! Ok, Sam’s Club, here’s a place that you have to pay a yearly fee just to have the luxury to shop there. Then they have some of the longest lines I’ve ever had to stand in, and the people in front of me are literally buying a truckload of stuff. Now to top it off you have to stand in yet another line just to get out the door so some drone can put a yellow line on your receipt. Furthermore, stuff isn’t nessessarily any cheaper there. The only reason I continue to go there is there is some stuff that we go through a lot and it’s nice to but it bulk. I stopped in to pick up 2 items today, and it took me 45 minutes from the time I walked in to the time I was out the door. That just seems nuts!

I think my feed is messed up
I upgraded wordpress to 2.0.5 yesterday, then I upgraded all my plugins. After that I noticed my feed republished itself in bloglines. However the feed entries were missing the Related Posts info that are part of a plugin I use. So I copied back my old wp-rss2.php. Now if I preview the feed I see all the correct info, but bloglines hasn’t updated my feed since yesterday and I even had a new entry. I also checked google reader and that also was missing the most recent entry. Ugh!!
Update: Well my feeds look like they are updating in various places now, but I had to deactivate my Feedburner Feed Replacement plugin.
Our house hit by something last night
I was startled awake about quarter to midnight by a loud noise. It sounded like something hit the house. I immediately got up and looked outside but didn’t see anything. I did see some kids pretty far off in the distance. This morning I looked at the front of the house and something red definitely hit the house. I don’t know what it is yet, I was thinking a paint ball, but I think a paint ball would have made a bigger mess.
A podcast that reboots my iPod
Yesterday I subscribed to a new podcast in iTunes. I synced up overnight and allowed the iPod to fully charge. This morning I undocked and wanted to listen to the new podcast, but every time I try to play one the the podcasts, my iPod reboots. It happens on every one of the shows I downloaded all episodes from this podcast(about 9) that were available. If I choose a different podcast, everything works normally. Weird. The podcast in question is The Linux Action Show which I learned about through digg yesterday. The show does release in ogg and mp3 format and I verified that the files downloaded are the mp3 ones. Anyone experience this? Or better yet, know why it is happening?
Update 1: Found this. It might not be a problem with podcast, but it is the first podcast I subscribed to since I updated to iTunes 7.02
Update 2: Seems to have something to do with the EQ. Read the comments
