The wireless void that is central Wisconsin

For my little roadtrip this past weekend I had netstumbler running on my way up and on the way back. Grand total was 150 access points discovered. That number was lower than expected since I drove through Milwaukee and past Madison. As you can see from the picture below there were many stretches without any wireless activity. I guess there’s not much need for Wi-Fi on the potato farms of central Wisconsin. The red arrow in the upper left indicate my final destination and my starting point was in the lower right.
